The object of That Club is to dine. That’s one of the first rules. That Club is modeled (quite loosely) around the “Other Club” which was begun by Winston Churchill in 1911 as an alternative to THE Club (which he and his friend F.E. Smith had not been invited to).
That Club is strictly invitation only and meets at families’ houses once a month.
The rough agenda is that the attendees enjoy each other company breaking bread for an hour, and then commence with conversation for the second hour. But the truth is that there is eating and deep discussion throughout the affair.
Please Contact Us, if you’re interested in an extremely casual, and occasionally enlightening Dinner Club.
